Kirby Farrell - President and CEO

Kirby has worked in the broadband networking and Health Care IT industries for 30 years. Beginning in 1983 he served as Manager of Coopers & Lybrand's Telecom Consulting Practice in New York. During his tenure with C&L, Kirby provided consulting support to the world's largest telecommunications companies including AT&T, Verizon (New York Bell), Northern Telecom, Siemens (ROLM)), Cincinnati Bell and others.

In 1992 he co-founded INTEGREX, inc., a health care broadband network service firm. Key INTEGREX clients included: Georgetown University Medical Center; Washington Hospital Center; Children's Hospital of Philadelphia; Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania; St. Barnabas Medical Center of New Jersey; The Cleveland Clinic; Montefiore Medical Center in New York; and The University of Chicago Hospitals. In 1999 INTEGREX was acquired by Daou Systems, Inc.

In 2002 he co-founded Segovia, Inc., a Military Satellite Services firm. Segovia developed a first-of-its-kind global, secure, broadband IP satellite managed service for the U.S. Department of Defense. Key Segovia clients include: Army Space & Missile Defense Command; Army Logistics Command; Army Corps of Engineers; and Army 20th Support Command (Global WMD Response).

Separately, Segovia developed a non-secure broadband IP satellite network that provided Internet Cafe service (including VoIP service) to 178 Internet Cafes in Iraq in support of U.S. troops. The Segovia network greatly expanded service to remote areas, enabled warfighter's to eliminate traditional calling cards and supported about 20M minutes per months in VoIP traffic. Mr. Farrell sold his shares in Segovia at the end of 2007.

In 2008 Kirby founded Broad Axe Technology Partners to provide professional services in the rapidly developing, broadband-driven Telehealth industry.

Kirby graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
