From the Beltway around Washington, D.C., take I-66 West to second Rt. 29 exit (at Gainesville). Travel south on Rt. 29 for approximately 78 miles into Charlottesville. Turn left on E. Rio Road immediately after passing Woodbrook Drive and follow for approximately 4 miles. Turn right on US-250 Business (High St.) and take the first left on Fourth Street NE. Go 0.3 miles and turn right on Garrett St, then take the first left on Second Street SE. Broad Axe is located in the OpenSpace office complex immediately on the right.
Exit airport straight through the rotary onto Airport Road. At the set of lights, turn right on Seminole Trail/Rt. 29 and continue straight for approximately 4 miles. Turn left on E. Exit airport slight right onto S. Airport Drive. Merge onto I-64 W via the ramp to I-95/Richmond, and follow I-64 W for 75 miles. Take exit 121 for VA-20 toward Charlottesville/Scottsville and turn right on VA-20 North toward Charlottesville. Continue for 1.3 miles (turns into Monticello Avenue), and turn right on Second Street SE. Broad Axe is located in the OpenSpace office complex immediately on the left.
